# Roll back to the previous active EdgeWorker version

POST https://{hostname}/edgeworkers/v1/ids/{edgeWorkerId}/activations/rollback

Reactivate the EdgeWorker version that was previously active on the Akamai network, either staging or production.

- `edgeWorkerId` (string, required)

### Query parameters

- `accountSwitchKey` (string, optional) — For customers who manage more than one account, this [runs the operation from another account](https://techdocs.akamai.com/developer/docs/manage-many-accounts-with-one-api-client). The Identity and Access Management API provides a [list of available account switch keys](https://techdocs.akamai.com/iam-api/reference/get-client-account-switch-keys).

This endpoint expects an object.

- `network` (enum, required) — The network on which the version previously active will be reactivated, either `STAGING` or `PRODUCTION`.
  - Allowed values: `STAGING`, `PRODUCTION`
- `note` (string, optional) — Note to specify the reason for the rollback.

## Response

### 201

Provides details for an EdgeWorker activation.

- `accountId` (string, required) — Identifier for the account under which the EdgeWorker was created.
- `activationId` (integer, required) — Unique identifier of the activation.
- `createdBy` (string, required) — Username of the person who activated the EdgeWorker.
- `createdTime` (datetime, required) — ISO 8601 timestamp indicating when the EdgeWorker was activated.
- `edgeWorkerId` (integer, required) — Unique identifier of the EdgeWorker.
- `lastModifiedTime` (datetime, required) — ISO 8601 timestamp indicating when the activation was most recently modified.
- `network` (enum, required) — The network on which the version is activated, either `PRODUCTION` or `STAGING`.
  - Allowed values: `STAGING`, `PRODUCTION`
- `status` (enum, required) — The activation status of the EdgeWorker version, either `PRESUBMIT`, `PENDING`, `IN_PROGRESS`, `COMPLETE`, `ABORTED`, `ERROR`, `DELETED_BY_AKAMAI`, or `EXPIRED`.
  - Allowed values: `PRESUBMIT`, `PENDING`, `IN_PROGRESS`, `ABORTED`, `ERROR`, `COMPLETE`, `DELETED_BY_AKAMAI`, `EXPIRED`, `CANCELLED`
- `version` (string, required) — Unique identifier of the version.
- `note` (string, optional) — Note to specify why the version is being activated.
